Get Activ8d sending young people up the wall this winter
Active youngsters over eight years old can reach new heights this winter with two fully inclusive climbing sessions run by Get Activ8d.
The sessions, held at Alton Sports Centre, are part of an East Hampshire District Council scheme to get children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs active and healthy.
These sessions, arranged with support from Inspiring You and High Sports, will be held on Sunday 22 January and Saturday 28 January. The following times are available on both dates:
1.15pm – 2.15pm
2.30pm – 3.30pm (Full on 22 January)
3.45pm – 4.45pm
Four spaces an hour are open to children and young people with disabilities and or additional needs over eight years old. To make it even more fun a friend or sibling can join them for the hour as well at no cost.
Booking is essential for these sessions as spaces are limited. To book or for more information please contact lisa.clements@easthants.gov.uk or 01730 234384.
When booking please specify preferred times and let organisers know of any requirements the young people will need.
